Opening The Door

But I don't want to go back to work.... I hear myself whining in my head.  How did this two week vacation go by so quickly?  I'm not ready to leave my comfy bubble.  I want more days of staying in pajamas, getting coffee delivered to me in bed, cuddling with my little girl on the couch.  I want more days with my family.   I don't mean to complain this early in the year but I know the minute I open my garage door to leave my house tomorrow morning the peaceful calm we've been living the past two weeks will usher out as well.

Of course there is excitement of getting back into our normal routine.  It's the beginning of the year, always a time of rechargement (2015 Resolution - make up words) and so much to look forward to in the New Year.  They'll be birthdays celebrated, anniversaries toasted, fun nights with friends, holidays to spend with family, tears to fall, laughs to be had, trips to be planned, new babies to hold, weddings to get drunk at, meet new friends and spend time with old ones.  Many possibilities to come.

Okay, so maybe I'm ready to open up my door tomorrow morning.  It's the New Year and anything can be right around the corner.
