Orajel and Vodka

It was a sleepy Saturday morning that helped kick off our weekend.  Sleepy for our neighbors -not us.  We beat the sun up - Matt had to get work done on his car - the mechanics were located to a diner we used to frequent. The Omelettry -Matt and I used to enjoy lazy mornings grabbing a hot cup of coffee, eating pancakes that melt in your mouth and omelets the size of your head.

Well.......
How about having lukewarm coffee, cold omeletes and dry pancakes instead? Because apparently that's what our diner experience is like with a 9 month old.  Gone are the days of relaxing, easing into the morning over a cup of coffee and warm syrup soaked pancakes  - We now shovel food down our gullets like its no one's business.... because someone (--> pointing at Grace) doesn't have proper diner etiquette.

oh well, we tried and try again we will....Float On

Sunday morning brought a long overdue family run/walk around the neighborhood.  A family that runs together, stays together. And before we knew it - it was time to head to Laurie and Stevens to watch to football, eat some wings and drink some vodka.  Laurie and Steven have been friends of ours for over 4 years - when it would be the 4 of us meeting up for drinks or playing board games while getting tipsy.

Well.... ( you get the theme)
Now it is the 4 of us plus 2 babies and a toddler!  We still drink and we still play games - it just looks a little differently.
Baby Orajel to numb baby Layton's gums....Vodka to numb ours

Teagan and I playing dress up.....I think I had more fun
